Gian was born in El Carmen Frontera in Malacatán, San Marcos, Guatemala.
He was called into Ministry as a young boy.
He went to Italian High School, then Francisco Marroquín University for Software Engineering, then to a Bible Institute, and then Theological Seminary CEBE to be ordained as a Christian Minister.

After that he went to HIU for his Bachelors in Theology, then Masters in Theology, and now he has earned his Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling at TXUT.
